Bloom and Cluster

I have always loved origami so for this painting we were tasked to turn a lot of construction paper into these complex structures where we were then tasked to paint them. I had previously made some paper sculptures I had made for my 3D design class the previous semester laying around so I decided to use them in this painting which are the two main structures that create these complex organic structures that just make such interesting shadows and forms. The sculpture all by themself was pretty boring so the origami burds and fish add som depths and charater to the final peice.
