Self Portrait 2020

This self portrait was painted during the early days of the pandemic in 2020. It was a time of uncertainty and isolation, Usually be for the pandemic i had pretty short haiir were i asumed i. had straight hair. But during a time were i couldent get a hair cut for what i can remember about 6 months my hair grew out and i discovered i had curly hair.

The Painting Process

This painting actually too me a while to complete, as i would only work on it sporadically durring the pandemic, and it really alowed me to reaaly explore the manipulation of the colors and fine tune my techniques i use to this day. I wanted three i wanted to fous on three color groups consisting of the primary colors red, blue, and yellow. Were i got to play with representing them
